WALES — Landon Bangs scored three goals to lead Oak Hill past Carrabec 4-0 in boys soccer action Monday.
Bangs scored the first goal of the game, followed by Patrick Strout as the Raiders (3-4-0) went into halftime with a 2-0 lead. Bangs scored both goals in the second half while Cooper Spencer added two assists.
Carrabec falls to 1-2-0.
RICHMOND 8, TEMPLE 1: Cole Alexander had a hat trick and an assist to help the Bobcats get an East/West Conference victory at Thomas College.
Max Viselli had two goals and an assist for Richmond (7-3-0), while Connor Vashon (assist), Chance Taylor and Ben Fournier also scored. Alexx Roy and Wyatt Cassidy had assists.
Lens Louis scored for the Bereans (2-3-2), while Joshua Wiles made 23 saves.
LISBON 2, MONMOUTH 1: Danny Levesque scored on a header off a free kick in the second half to send the Greyhounds (9-1) past the Mustangs (7-2-1) in Lisbon.
Sam Lubamba scored in the first half for Lisbon, while Elijah Fullerton and Hunter Brissette had assists. Brissette also held Monmouth’s Hayden Fletcher to one shot all game while man-marking him.
Jacob Godbout scored the lone Monmouth goal in the first half. Monmouth’s Hunter Frost made six saves in net, while Sean Moore stopped seven shots for Lisbon.
FIELD HOCKEY
DIRIGO 4, OAK HILL 0: Jayce Brophy had a goal and two assists to pace the Cougars to the win.
Grace Robbins, Grace Averill and Kathryn Callander had the other goals for Dirigo (7-2-2). Alyvia Ellis made two saves.
Sierra Lane made 20 saves for the Raiders (3-7-0).
WINTHROP 7, TELSTAR 0: Maddie Perkins and Madeline Wagner both scored two goals apiece as the Ramblers won in Winthrop.
Bella Littler, Brooke Belz and Izzy Folsom each added a goal of their own for Winthrop (11-0-0) while Perkins and Wagner also tallied two assists each.
Madison Weymouth saved two shots for Winthrop before Elle Folsom came in in relief and did not record a save. Telstar’s Eb Hoff saved 24 shots.
SKOWHEGAN 10, HAMPDEN 0: Layla Conway had a hat trick and two assists to pace the River Hawks to the win in Hampden.
Kate Kelso and Samantha Theberge each added two goals for Skowhegan while Laney LeBlanc had a goal and four assists. Gemma Kennedy and Ellie Quinn had the other goals.
