WATERVILLE — Sadie Williams scored on a direct kick to give Waterville a 1-0 win over Lawrence in girls soccer action Wednesday.
Phoenix Gatlin had one save to earn the shutout for Waterville (6-3-1).
Zoe Hutchins had seven saves for Lawrence (0-10-0).
NYA 6, RICHMOND 1: Jasmine Huntsman had a hat trick to lead the Panthers to the win in Richmond.
Angel Huntsman added two goals while Michala Wallace had one for NYA (8-0-1). Eliza Chace made two saves.
Lila Viselli scored for Richmond (6-4-0) and Liz Johnson stopped 13 shots.
BOYS SOCCER
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 1, HALL-DALE 0: Hayden Fletcher scored his 90th career goal in the first half to give the Mustangs (8-2-1) wictory over the Bulldogs (7-3) in Monmouth.
Hunter Frost made seven saves in the win.
Jackson Leach made 12 saves for the Bulldogs.
OAK HILL 6, WINTHROP 3: Ethan Vattaso scored a hat trick for the Raiders (5-4) in win over the Ramblers (3-7) in Winthrop.
Koby Lafata had a goal and two assists for Oak Hill and Jordan Castonguay had a goal.
Tyler Shumway and Iker Penniman had a goal and an assist for Winthrop while Matt Beck scored once.
Cade Fessenden made five saves for Oak Hill and Jaxon August made seven saves for Winthrop.
FIELD HOCKEY
NOKOMIS 5, GARDINER 1: Hannah Bradley scored twice to pace the Warriors to the win in Gardiner.
Brianna Townsend, Madison Hook and Madeleine Roundy also scored for Nokomis (7-3-1).
Piper LaVoie scored off an assist from Bri Smith for Gardiner (6-5-0).
SKOWHEGAN 5, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Norie Tibbetts notched a hat trick and had an assist fo the River Hawks (9-0) in win over the Red Eddies (1-11) in Auburn.
Laney Leblanc had two goals and two assists in the win.
Gwyn Turgeon made three saves for Skowhegan and Kaey Smith stopped 12 shots for EL.
OAK HILL 1, HALL-DALE 0, 2OT: Cassie Steckino put home the winning goal in double overtime in the Raiders win in Wales.
Julie Mooney had the assist. Oak Hill (3-7-0) goalie Sierra Lane made seven saves in the victory.
Kelsey Cormier had 15 saves for Hall-Dale (1-4-1).
