Daniel W. Pomerleau

AUGUSTA – Daniel W. Pomerleau, born Nov. 6, 1945, passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 4, 2021.

He graduated in 1966 from Cony High School.

Dan spent 20 plus years as a manager for a major retailer. He also owned and operated an antique shop in Hallowell for 10 years called Kennebec Row Antiques. He owned and managed several apartment buildings within central Maine. He also served on the Augusta City Council from 1994-1996.

Dan had many interests and passions which included reading, traveling and exploring new places, antiquing, entertaining, retail therapy, breakfasts out with friends, and a love for design and architecture.

Daniel is survived by his partner of 44 years, Al Longstaff, Jr.; a sister, Theresa Pomerleau Laliberte of Augusta, a sister, Barbara Pomerleau Shepard of Connecticut; his beloved dog “Puppy”; and many other loved ones.

He was predeceased by his parents; and an older brother.

There will be no public calling hours and burial will be private.
