EVERETT, Mass. – Peter Abbott Tracy, 29, passed away on Oct. 8, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Pete was born on Feb. 15, 1992 in Augusta to Dave Tracy and Lisa Caron. He graduated from Cony High School in 2010 and Bowdoin College in 2014.
Pete had a successful career as a software engineer at CareDash- a company he called a second home.
Pete married his college sweetheart, Vilmarie, on April 21, 2021 amid a perfect storm in the Berkshires.
No one who met Pete could ever forget his avid passion for all different types of activities. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, disc golf, playing musical instruments, longboarding, and logic games. Above all, Pete loved being on stage especially doing musical improvisational comedy with his friends from Catalyst Comedy. A magnetic presence on stage, Pete was always a team player who never missed an opportunity to perform no matter how tired he could be. Pete also regarded his friends as family and was constantly seeking out opportunities to share laughs playing board games, Dungeons and Dragons, or video games with them.
Pete is survived by his wife, Vilmarie Taraza; his brothers, Mark and Eric Tracy; his grandparents, Donald and Linda Tracy, Kathleen Tracy, and Marion Meservey; his parents, Dave Tracy and Lisa Caron; and his dearest puppy, Coco (Cocobella).
No words can describe how much he will be missed.
