Marci Alexander’s intelligence and energy are what Augusta needs to keep us moving forward.

I have known Councilor Alexander personally for many years. Marci is a highly skilled attorney with 25 years of public and private sector legal experience.

Marci is a dedicated problem solver. It was her idea during the council’s goal setting to create the North end of Water Street & Sand-Hill Redevelopment Committee. “We need to take the positive work that has been done downtown and push it out into other neighborhoods,” she explained.

I currently serve with Marci on that committee as its chair and I served with Marci on the City Council. We need her energy and experience as a positive force to improve Water Street, Northern Avenue and surrounding streets and the entire city for that matter. Councilor Alexander has Augusta’s best interests at heart and I believe that with her intelligence and energy, she is the best candidate for Mayor.

I say to my fellow citizens of Augusta, “A new generation offers a leader.”
