Arlene Jane Ledger

LINNEUS – Arlene Jane Ledger, 68, died Feb. 17, 2022. Known to some as A.J., she was born May 29, 1953. She was a Jack of all trades and Swiss Army Mom who could make everything ok with words and a hug or a multi course meal from what seemed like three ingredients. Arlene was a caring, loving and devoted Mom, sister, aunt and partner. She was eternally proud of her children and grandchildren and never hesitated to brag about their various accomplishments, large or small. When it came to roller skating, no one could keep up with her and she and her life partner Girard (Butch) St. Laurent would make news publications for their stylish skating skills. Arlene left a lasting impression on anyone she met. Her kindness, grace and bright green eyes could not be ignored. She was quick with a witty joke or a thoughtful compliment. Arlene loved to take care of people and make sure everyone was happy. She is and will forever be sorely missed by her family and friends.
