I have an idea for the cities and towns that are stating that they have saved money from the lack of snowfall.

How about they all purchase an abstract piece of art like the one in the concourse in Waterville? Seriously, did we really need that? I am still amazed with the amount of money that was wasted on such a ridiculous item.

How about using the money to actually fix the streets and roads in this state? Not patchwork jobs, either.

I will commend the work done on Pleasant Street in Waterville.
