PORTLAND — Ski Maine Association will host a ski season kick-off party from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the Eastland Park Hotel, Grand Ballroom. Proceeds will benefit the Ski Muse.

There will be ski memorabilia, photos and collections on display with a archive from the Maine Ski Hall of Fame.

Authors of snow sports books will be available for book signing from 6 to 7 p.m.

There will also be short films shown and door prizes will be drawn at 8:30 p.m. Participants have to be present to win.
