PITTSFIELD – Jalen Babin rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead the Mt. View High School football team past Maine Central Institute 43-6 in a Little Ten Conference game Friday night.
Babin rushed for 59 yards and threw for 71 more, completing three of his five passes.
He rushed for both his touchdowns in the second quarter to help the Mustangs grab a 23-6 halftime lead.
“We knew we had to win this game,” he said. “We’ve come down here before and we got it handed to us. We took it to heart.”
Adam Ogden rushed for 77 yards to lead MCI (2-4).
