I am writing to endorse Charlotte Warren for Democratic candidate for Kennebec County commissioner from District 2. As a former mayor of Hallowell, Charlotte understands the ins and outs of preparing an affordable budget. As a chair of the Criminal Justice Committee this year in the Legislature, Charlotte obtained extra money for county prison operations which will reduce the burden on Kennebec County property taxpayers.

Remember to vote! The primary is June 14. District 2 in Kennebec County includes Farmingdale, Fayette, Gardiner, Hallowell, Litchfield, Monmouth, Mount Vernon, Pittston, Randolph, Readfield, Vienna, Wayne, West Gardiner and Winthrop.
