WATERVILLE — The Waterville Department of Public Works recently announced a comprehensive pavement upgrade project for Grove Street will begin Monday.

Pike Industries will grind the existing paved surface, grade and resurface with a base asphalt application. This portion of the project will take approximately five to 10 days and is weather and temperature dependent.

The final finish surface for the project will be applied in the spring. Some intermittent traffic delays can be expected for this and all connecting side streets. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.
