Judith Ann Taylor

WINTHROP – Judith Ann Taylor, 81, of Old Lewiston Road, died Tuesday May 24, 2022 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Augusta on July 2, 1940, the daughter of Burbank Taylor and Doris Eleanor (Abbott) Taylor.

Judith attended Augusta schools. Judy was employed by Goodwill Industries for several years. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and traveling.

She was a member of Penney Memorial United Baptist Church, Augusta and a member of the church group called the V.I.P.’s.

Judy was predeceased by her father, her mother; and a sister, Beverly J. Malcolm.

Surviving is a sister, Joan McGuire of Hallowell; and 10 nieces and one nephew.

The family thanks Goodwill Industries and their staff for the loving care they provided.

Friends may visit on Wednesday June 1 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Freedom at a later date.
