TURNER – Jake Ouellette rushed for a game-high 143 yards and three touchdowns and Jordan Hersom threw a pair of touchdown passes to Ian Durgin as the Leavitt Area High School football team trounced Gardiner 41-6 in a Pine Tree Conference Class B game Friday.

Durgin rushed for 97 yards and Hersom threw for 119 as the Hornets (8-0) clinched the No. 1 seed for the PTC B playoffs.

Alonzo Connor rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown to lead Gardiner (6-2).

Leavitt, which led 21-0 at the half, finished with 511 yards of total offense.
