WINTHROP — The 40th annual Friends on the 4th 5K race was held Monday in Winthrop. Three hundred and three runners raced through downtown on Main Street before finishing at the eastern shore of Maranacook Lake.
Hudson Delisle, 22, was the overall winner, finishing in 17:00.6. Rachel Ingram, 26, was the first women’s finisher in 19:43. Sally Gilley, 80, was the oldest female runner, finishing in 55:16.7 while Bart Frame, 78, the oldest male runner, finished in 36:02.3.
Overall, behind Delisle was Wes Danforth (17:13.1), Jack Oneglia (17:50.9), Sam Renaud (17:52.8) and Casey Spencer (17:53.7) for the men. For the women, coming in behind Ingram was Alexa Brennan (19:50.7), Lina Martinez Nocito (20:20.6), Christie Tebbets (21:44.9) and Kylie Van Tassel (21:52.7).
