The Friends of the Bailey Public Library plans to host its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Bailey Public Library, 39 Bowdoin St. in Winthrop.
The large selection of books includes fiction, nonfiction, paperback, large print, and children books, as well as DVD and audio books, all priced from 25 cents to $1. A bag sale will begin at 12:30 p.m. priced at $3 per bag, according to a news release from the Friends.
A preview sale will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22. Admission to the preview sale is $10.
The Friday evening preview sale allows people to browse in quiet comfort. Admission is limited to 50; tickets can be reserved in advance at the library or purchased at the door.
All proceeds benefit the Charles M. Bailey Public Library.
