Pauline J. Ashcroft

AUBURN – Pauline J. Ashcroft, 84, of Auburn passed away July 17, 2022, after an extended illness.

She was born in Jay, Maine, on April 6, 1938, to Antoine and Antoinette (Belanger) Marceau. Pauline graduated from Jay High School and went on to raise her five children in Winthrop, where she lived for most of the remainder of her life. Pauline loved her flower gardens, all types of animals and her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Alice Marceau, Rose Couturier and Lucienne Chesley, and grandson, Roderic Carmichael. Surviving is one sister, Therese Marceau of Canada, and Pauline’s children, Michael and wife Melanie, Suzanne Mills, Stephen and his wife Beth, Robert and his wife Diana and Jeanne and her husband Leo along with seven grandchildren.

At Pauline’s request, there will be no service.
