Yong (Yuna) Beaulieu

PORTLAND – It is with heavy hearts the Beaulieu family announces that on Sunday August 7, 2022, Yong (Yuna) Beaulieu, age 66, passed away.

Yuna was born on July 21, 1956 in South Korea. In her twenties she met a handsome young fella in the army who whisked her away to Smithfield, Maine to start a family.

Yuna was a loyal wife, mother and friend. She always put the needs of her family first and supported her children in whatever they pursued. Yuna had a tough exterior but those close to her know she was tender at heart.

Yuna was predeceased by her son Jonathon Beaulieu.

Yuna is survived by her husband, Ivan Beaulieu; daughter, Showna Giangrasso and husband Joseph Giangrasso, and son, Nicholas Beaulieu of Smithfield. She is deeply loved, will be sorely missed, and her legacy will live on through the hearts of her family and friends. You and Jon rest easy together, mom. We love you so, so much.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday August 18 at 4 p.m. at Veilleux and Redington Funeral Home with visitation to follow till 6 p.m.
