Jason Cullen
EDDINGTON/Patten – Jason Cullen, 38, passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Jason climbed mountains for many years striving to change the world’s view of diagnoses. He fought hard not allowing health to define the ability to conquer his many accomplishments. His proudest moments; marrying his beloved wife of 15 years, Brandi (Crandall) and becoming a loving father to two incredible children, Korbin and Mackenzie.
Jason spent his childhood days loving the basketball court and valued every lesson learned from dedicated coaches. This empowered him to become a strong athlete on and off the court. Later, teaching the same drive, dedication and unique qualities to his children. He loved watching his children’s soccer/baseball games and winning at dominoes.
He was a graduate of Katahdin schools, post high school he was determined to gain independence and became a lifelong employee of Eastern Maine Medical Center. He valued his ability to work fulltime to provide for his family.
He enjoyed four wheeling as a child and thereafter shared this same love with his own family. After purchasing his property in Eddington he looked forward to new ATV adventures. His humor lit up a room with laughter as he always found the joy in the little things around him. His character was infectious and his love for the Lord was a beacon of light to those around him.
Jason is survived by his parents Daylene (Gene) Denham and Brent (Susan) Cullen; brothers Jordan and Caleb Cullen; “Brother”/cousin Tyler Gans; grandparents Donnis (Janice) Carver; aunts, uncles; special nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by William (Edna) Cullen.
Friends may call 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday Sept. 10 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 578 Station Rd., Stacyville, with a funeral service being held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Andy Harthorne officiating. Interment will be held privately for the family.
