PARALLEL PATHS: Logan Johnson strolls Monday across the trestle over Cobbossee Stream at the confluence of the Kennebec River in Gardiner as a Cianbro barge pulls a crane to the firm’s dock in Randolph. Johnson, a city councilor, was walking the tracks next to where he once netted sturgeon with his late friend, Brian Rines, to recover roe for caviar. The crane, according to workers on the CMP transmission line project, was being fitted with a shorter boom to resume tower construction on Brown’s Island on the river between Chelsea and Farmingdale.
