AUGUSTA — United Way of Kennebec Valley plans to host an outdoor movie at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Mill Park at 1 Water St.
This free, family friendly event will feature Disney’s “Encanto.” Concessions and hot dogs can be purchased throughout the event in order to raise money for 49 local nonprofit programs in Kennebec County.
Patrons planning to sit outside are advised to bring extra blankets as weather is expected to be on the chilly side.
FM transmission will be available for those who would like to watch the movie from their vehicle.
This event is open to the public; alcohol will not be permitted.
