WATERVILLE — The Waterville Lions Club seeks new members interested in community service. Volunteers are needed to help organize events to benefit the Waterville community. The organization offers free eye screening to elementary students, supplies glasses to those in need and supports many causes.

Meetings are held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month at the Waterville American Legion Hall, College Avenue

Donations can be made by donating your returnable bottles and cans at the South End Cafe Redemption Center, across from the Hathaway building.
