As an advocate, I have spent many years working in Augusta representing those with mental illness, survivors of sexual assault, cancer patients, and others. I also had the privilege of working with Rep. Charlotte Warren during that time.
I’ve seen her navigate divisive issues skillfully and with a level of compassion for both sides that in today’s world is all too rare. She is a strong, steadfast leader who stands up for working families. She also has a unique commitment to engaging with those whose worldview differs from her own.
While her time as our state representative is coming to an end, we now have an opportunity to elect her as District 2 Kennebec County commissioner! I am excited to vote for her in November and I hope you will join me.
