I’m writing in support of Corey Wilson in his bid for Maine House. Corey has shown a dedication to, and understanding of, true service to his State and Country by serving in the military and also being a small business owner. I have no doubt that Corey is running to make this a better place for all of us and will use his experiences in both the military and business to accomplish that goal.
His military service speaks for itself in that putting the rest of us above self is a way of life for him and he will be able to use lessons learned to be his compass in helping to lead the district to a brighter future.
Along with all of this, his character shines through in his personal life and how he carries himself as a husband, dad and person.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
