My husband and I bring our concerns to Rep. Bruce White: voting rights, Alzheimer’s, gun safety, among others. He soon returns with more information, or shares our opinions with other legislators and state officials.

In my case, I was writing a piece on voting rights, which we discussed. Soon, Bruce emailed me an update on the Maine Legislature’s voting reforms. One reason our voting rights are head and shoulders above other states’ (such as Texas) is because Rep. White works with colleagues across the aisle to strengthen all Mainers’ access to the ballot, not limit our access. He believes the workings of government should be transparent to the people who elect him and other representatives to state office.

I have found him to be a man of integrity and honesty. In these divisive and distressing times, Rep. White is a calming, welcoming, and productive influence in Augusta. Re-elect him.
