I’ve been a resident of Winthrop for 16 years. I’m a mother and a grandmother with a grandson in the Winthrop schools.

I’m writing in support of Alicia Lawson for a seat on the school board. Alicia has been a great resource to me. Whenever I’ve had questions or concerns, I’ve reached out to her because she has children in school and a psychology degree. She has always taken the time to chat, and when she didn’t know the answer, she was happy to reach out to others for knowledge.

Alicia is polite and considerate, she wants to do right by our children in all grade levels. She wants to cultivate an environment of good moral values and protect the innocence of our youngest in grade school.

I trust Alicia implicitly, as she has our children’s’ best interests at heart. Join me in voting for Alicia!
