I refuse to vote for anyone who places negative ads on television. I finally figured out that I have only to hit the mute button so that I don’t have to listen to them. There really should be a law that prevents any candidate for office from mentioning his opponent; or even alluding to him/her. There is a truth in advertising law, but it doesn’t affect politicians!

The most recent is of a candidate standing in muck boots next to a pile of manure, then taking a floor scraper and pushing it out of the way. It is crude and disgusting.

Candidates are you listening? Tell us what you believe you can do for Maine — period!
