The city of Hallowell plans to sponsor a children’s Christmas party on Thursday, Dec. 15.

Santa is scheduled to arrive at 6 p.m. on a firetruck in front of City Hall at 1 Winthrop St. There will be arts and crafts, snacks and a present for each child.

Santa also will have a box available for paper products, shampoo, detergent, soap and miscellaneous supplies for the Hallowell Food Pantry.

Volunteers are needed and welcome.
