CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Jeff and Julie Ballard of Canandaigua, N.Y. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kate Ballard of Worcester, Mass. to Nathan Murphy of Worcester, Mass., son of Rhonda and John Brault of North Brookfield, Mass. and Ray Lopolito of Worcester, Mass.

Kate will graduate in the fall 2011 with a bachelor of science degree in Human Services, and a minor in Music from Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, Mass. She is employed as a Direct Care Professional at Devereux Behavioral Treatment Center in Rutland, Mass.

Nathan graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Political Science from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass. He is employed at Harr Motors in Worcester.

An April 15, 2012, wedding is planned at Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Mass.
