WILTON — SeniorsPlus is scheduled to give a presentation, Medicare Made Simple, from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, March 16.
The free class will be held at the Wilton office of SeniorsPlus at 284 Main St., Suite 10.
In this introductory course, attendees can learn about insurance options with Medicare, when to enroll or change plans, and how state law may affect their choices. This presentation is aimed at people who are new to Medicare, or anyone who currently has Medicare and would like to learn more, according to a news release from Corey LaFlamme, marketing and development assistant with SeniorsPlus.
SeniorsPlus is the designated Area Agency on Aging serving Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties. It offers a network of support, including information and assistance, short-term care management, Medicare counseling, caregiver support and respite, health and wellness education, benefits counseling, and Meals on Wheels and congregate dining.
