Stand Up Comedy with the River Comics plan to take the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at Somerset Abbey, 98 Main St. in Madison.

The event will be hosted by Leonard Kimball of River Comics along with Johnny Ater, Keith Hebert and Crystal Bernard.

Ater, A life-long local and arguably Maine’s funniest, down-home comedian, Ater offers up hilarious and honest stories about life, family, relationships, work, and his colorful local friends, which he brings to life on stage for all to meet.
Ater is not a bitter, self-hating comic, he’s vulnerable and embraces his uncool persona.

An accountant by day and comic by night, when Hebert’s not clacking away on a calculator he’s yakking it up on a mic.

Bernard is a finalist in New England’s Funniest Comic and first runner-up in Maine’s Wicked Funny Laugh Off, she was born and raised in Maine. A welder by day, bartender at night, she draws comedy from life experiences.

Kimble is an up and coming comedian from Auburn where he lives with his wife, two children, and a cat he doesn’t want. He spends his days as that IT guy who works on stuff you don’t really care about. Originally from Chicago, he bases his comedy on things he has said to his wife in the car, whether it be about their kids or life in Maine.
