GARDINER — Gardiner Public Library will hold a slumber party for children on Friday at the library, 152 Water St.
The party, from 6:30 p.m. Friday until 7:30 a.m. Saturday, is open to second and third-grade students who have an active library card. Children will spend the night in the library and enjoy games, movies and popcorn.
There is no cost. One child per family can participate and parents must visit the library to fill out a permission slip.

Curves holding
food drive
GARDINER — Curves of Gardiner, 35 Bridge St., is participating in the 13th annual Curves Food Drive through April 30.
They will collect non-perishable food and money donations to benefit a local food bank.
Members who make a $30 donation or an equivalent donation of food are eligible to receive a Curves reusable food drive grocery bag. The membership fee will be waived until Sunday for those who donate a bag of non-perishable food or make a minimum donation of $30.
