WATERVILLE — The Children’s Discovery Museum has promoted Caitlin Walker to full-time program director. In her new role, she will continue to plan and execute all museum programs and special events, as she has been doing previously, but will now be able to expand her efforts and create even more engaging experiences for visitors.

Walker has been an important part of the museum team for several years, and her dedication to creating fun and educational programs for visitors has been outstanding. As the museum’s programs and community relations coordinator, she has already coordinated programs that reached more than 7,500 individuals last year, showcasing her ability to connect with families and create meaningful experiences for all ages, according to a news release from Amarinda Keys, executive director of Children’s Discovery Museum.

With her promotion to full-time, Walker will have the opportunity to develop more innovative and exciting programs. Her background in education, with a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Vermont, and 11 years of teaching experience, will continue to be invaluable in creating engaging educational programs for visitors.

“Caitlin’s dedication and passion for providing high-quality programming for our visitors is unwavering,” said Keys. “Her promotion to full-time program director is well-deserved and will allow her to continue to expand our offerings and create even more memorable moments for families.”

Walker lives in Vassalboro with her husband and pets.
