James A. Carpenter

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – James A. Carpenter, born Aug. 26, 1957, passed away March 1, 2023 after a brief illness.

James was a true outdoorsman. He loved hiking, biking, fishing and camping with his best friend, Ron Fentiman, who was also a cousin.

He is survived by his sister, Cheryl LeClair, brother, Michael Carpenter; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Skowhegan Madison Elks Lodge, Silver Street, Skowhegan, June 3, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
