Victoria Noyes, a volunteer from Skowhegan, recently received the Appreciation Pin from the Girl Scouts of Maine.

The pin is an award bestowed upon a volunteer or staff member who provides exemplary service in support of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and who has had a measurable impact on two or more troops in one or more geographic areas, according to a news release from Helen Ruhlin with Girls Scouts of Maine.

Noyes is a vital member of the Somerset Service Unit. She holds a handful of crucial roles within the unit in addition to leading three different troops, the news release notes.
