The Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta 2023 is scheduled to return on the Indigenous Peoples Day holiday weekend, Friday through Monday, Oct. 6-9.
Woven into the festival are performances by buskers, stage and street performers, who span the gamut of entertainment, from music to magic.
Selected buskers will perform on a small stage and street corners throughout Damariscotta’s Main Street Oct. 7-9, according to a news release from Suzanne Gandy, public relations chair.
Busker candidates will be given an opportunity to entertain the thousands of visitors who come to the festivities and see the enormous decorated pumpkins along Main Street, the Pumpkin Parade, the Derby, the zany Regatta, and other events.
Auditions will be held online by scheduled Zoom meetings.
All submissions must be received by Monday, July 10. Submit online, and see further details regarding being a busker at Pumpkinfest, at damariscottapumpkinfest.com.
