ERA Webb’s Priest among top in US

Les Priest of ERA Webb Associates in Augusta was recently recognized as one of the company’s 20 top selling brokers in the country for 2013.

Priest, who bought ERA Webb Associates with Roger LaJeunesse in 2004, said in a news release from ERA that he owes his success to his dedicated buyers and sellers. Around 30 percent of his overall business has come from the sales of second homes, mostly made up of waterfront properties, according to the release.

Priest said in the release that the local real estate market is improving, and Maine Real Estate Information Systems data shows that the number of houses sold in Kennebec County increased 10.9 percent over 2012.
