James L. Doiron

SKOWHEGAN – James L. Doiron, “Jimmy” of Skowhegan Maine passed away unexpectedly in his home June 19, 2023, at the age of 76. James was born May 16, 1947 one of seven children born to Joseph Doiron and Evelyn “Marcoux” Doiron of Skowhegan. James proudly served in the Armed Forces and was active in the VFW, American Legion and Eagles Club.

James was predeceased by his wife Rosemary, brothers Arthur, Edward, Roy, Francais and sister Leona.

He is survived by his brothers Robert and Raymond, son Jamie Doiron and his wife Karen of Starks Maine, daughters Fawn Small and husband Timothy of Athens Maine and Billie Jo Piper and her husband Jason of Embden Maine; his grandchildren Sterling Doiron, Hillary Williford, Cody Small, Zachery Small, Natasha Beane, Nathan Beane, Nicholas Beane; great grandchildren Audrey Dillingham, Alaura McLean, Weston McLean, Emberlee McLean, Stone McLean, Emrys McLean, Clarimond McLean, and Ursylyn McLean; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

A special thank you to his devoted friends and neighbors that offered continued support and friendship. Especially Aunt Pam Doiron and neighbors Kevin and Mary Steward.

A celebration of life will be held at the VFW in Madison at 2 p.m., on Friday, June 30.
