Guy G. Nadeau
SKOWHEGAN – Guy G. Nadeau, Skowhegan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Redington-Fairview General hospital with his children by his side.
Guy was born on May 4, 1968, in St. Jean D’Iberville, Quebec. The son of Elie and Francine Nadeau (Bilodeau.)
He attended grade school in Newcomb, New York and graduated high school from Winslow, Maine in 1986.
Guy was a Godly man, a follower of the Catholic faith. He took pride in his Faith and prayed daily.
He was a hard worker, starting young as a logger and working through the years as a heavy equipment operator, and dump truck driver. Another thing Guy took pride in was his work, he always put his all into everything he did and accomplished.
In his younger years he enjoyed motorcycling, three wheeling, and snowmobiling. As he got older, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends. His children and grandchildren were his world.
Guy was predeceased by his father Elie Nadeau and his sister Lucy Merritt.
He is survived by his mother, Francine Nadeau, sister, Johanne MacLeod, brother, Steve Nadeau, brother in law, Jim Merritt, Son, Casey Nadeau (Bug), Daughters, Chelsea Nadeau (Porkchop) and Cayla Trial (Princess), Son in Law, Zachary Trial (Zacky Poo), Grandsons, Isaiah Gaskins and Leighton Trial, nieces, Chrissy Kaley (Rob), Chantal Nadeau, Paige MacLeod (Shantel), and Rachael Hosfield (Chris), nephews, Kevin Howard, Danny Merritt, and Ethan MacLeod, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Guy’s children would like to thank everyone from the bottom of their hearts for all the prayers, sympathy, and condolences during this difficult time. He may now Rest in Heavenly Peace.
Visiting hours will be from 12-1 p.m., followed by a service at 1 p.m., on Friday August 4, 2023, at Dan & Scotts Cremation and Funeral Service located at 445 Waterville Rd, Skowhegan, Maine, 04976. There will be a celebration of life at 5 p.m., held at 158 Porter Road, Skowhegan, Maine, 04976.
