Shari L. Obert

NORRIDGEWOCK – Shari L. Obert 56, Norridgewock, Maine, passed away on Aug. 6, 2023, in Norridgewock, Maine. She was born Oct. 8, 1966, in Bar Harbor, Maine, to the late Charles M. Stanley and Rosalie Stanley.

Shari was a loving, kind, and generous person. She dedicated herself to helping others and making a positive impact on her community. Shari’s compassion led her to start the group “Little Dreamers”, which provides backpacks to those in need and supported families during Christmas. Her selflessness and commitment to helping others will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her beloved husband Alan Obert, her mother Rosalie Stanley, her son Levi Hayden, and his fiancé Lauren Bossie. She is also survived by her brothers Charles H. Stanley and his partner Chorles Patricia Leland and Richard W. Stanley and his fiancée Morgan Brooks. Shari leaves behind her sister-in-law Catherine Obert and her partner Russell Ireland, as well as her precious grandchild, Lydia and grandson coming in November. She was also a cherished aunt to her special niece, Courtney Ireland, and her partner Hunter McDonald. Shari will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends and her two dogs, Henry and Lizzie.

Shari was predeceased by her father, Charles M. Stanley, who passed away in February 2005.

The loss of Shari leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be treasured, and her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire others. May she rest in peace.

Funeral services will take place at the Skowhegan Federated Church on Aug. 26, 2023, at 11 a.m.
