EAST MACHIAS – Selma Annette Grant, 90, passed away Aug. 2, 2023 in East Machias. Born in Presque Isle on April 12, 1933, to Goldie and Ivan Spooner.

Selma worked at Norwalk Shoe, Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Somerset Motor Lodge, and cleaned various homes and camps.

Selma loved her home in Florida, she had a wonderful churchlife at First Baptist Church in Lady Lake, Fla. She also enjoyed line dancing and meeting with friends for lunch. Always a hard worker, she could be found working on her yard in Florida.

When she could no longer travel to Florida, she was lovingly taken care of by daughter Carolyn and son-in-law Bob, at their home in East Machias.

Selma was predeceased by parents, Goldie and Ivan Spooner Sr.; first husband, Guy Worster, second husband, Ormand Grant; son, Sheldon Worster, son-in-law Robert Willey; grandson, Ryan Worster.

Survived by brother, Ivan Spooner Jr. and wife Betty of North Anson; daughter, Carolyn Willey, East Machias, son, Rod Worster and wife Renee, Skowhegan, son, Randy Worstser, Lady Lake, Fla.; grandchildren, Jason Willey, Robert Willey Jr., Shelley Corson, Molly Staples, Brett Worster; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by Smart Edwards Funeral Home, Skowhegan. Graveside service, Southside Cemetery, Skowhegan, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m.
