James “Reggie” Clark

CHELSEA – James “Reggie” Clark, 73, of Chelsea , peacefully passed away on Sept. 6, 2023 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Bangor and spent his childhood in Hermon. Reggie was fiercely passionate about his family and sports.

He attended Husson University and obtained a business degree, which led him to a career in cable and retired in 2013 as an upper level executive. Reggie was inducted into the Husson Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.

He was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. Reggie was an active member of the Augusta community in youth sports and local foundations.

Reggie was predeceased by his parents Judy and James Clark. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Cheryl Clark; his daughters, Courtney, Chelsea and her husband Brandon, Crystal and her fiance Kenny; three granddaughters, Alexa, Clara and Aubrey; his sisters Joni and Judi, his brother, Jerome and wife Shirley; as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation, hors d’oeuvres and drinks at The Governor Hill Mansion, 136 State St, Augusta, ME 04330, on Sept. 24 from 1 – 4 p.m.
