Jacob Lee Wilson
PORTLAND – Jacob Lee Wilson passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sept. 5. Jacob was born on June 8, 2001, in Augusta.
He was literally a daredevil from birth and was always willing to go first. He was extremely athletic and participated in football, basketball, and softball. He graduated in 2020 from Edward Little High School. From there he went to work at UPS as a package handler and reached his goal to become a driver. He really enjoyed his time at UPS.
He is survived by his fiancée, Hannah Steele of Turner; his mom, Melissa Stratton of Mt. Vernon, his father Steven Wilson of Augusta; his four brothers and a sister, Steven and Tyler of Augusta, Corey of Auburn, Dustin of Sidney, and Alisha of Somerville; his maternal grandmother, Cheryl Stratton of Augusta, his paternal grandfather Clifford Wilson of Chelsea.
Memorial services honoring Jake’s life will be held at East Auburn Baptist Church Friday Sept. 15 at 11:00 a.m..
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday Sept. 14 from 4 – 7 p.m. at East Auburn Baptist Church 560 Park Ave. Auburn.
