Ralph Arthur Hopper

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.- Ralph Arthur Hopper, 88, of St Augustine, Fla. passed, Sept 24, 2023, surrounded by close family. Ralph was born July 7, 1935, in Hallowell Maine of parents Ralph A Hopper, Sr. and Mae L. Blanchard.

Married to Lorraine N Couture in 1960, joined the Army in 1954 and retired in 1997 as a Florida State Trooper.

He was a long time member of Elks #829 and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; sons Michael and Dennis; grandchildren, Brianna and Dylan; sisters, Lorraine and Dale Flagg (Augusta ME) and Elsie Whitten (Hallowell ME ), Chuck & Madelene Hill, Richard Couture, Gil & Debbie Couture and numerous in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at St John’s funeral home Oct. 7, 2023 from 1:00- 3:00 p.m. in St Augustine Fla. Military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m.
