Philip Moulton

SKOWHEGAN – Philip passed away on Sept. 20, 2023, at Glenridge Comfort Care Facility in Augusta. Phil was born on Sept. 13, 1956, the son of Paul and Nancy (Sitlington) Moulton in Sacramento, Calif. They moved to Skowhegan in 1969.

Phil graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1976. He worked in the woods, Madison Paper, and Scott Paper / SAPPI until he resigned due to an injury. Phil loved motors and engines and could always be found in his garage tinkering.

He was predeceased by his father Paul Moulton.

He is survived by his mother Nancy Moulton of Skowhegan; brother Perry of Georgia, sister Morey and husband Mike of Oakland, sister Paula Whittemore and husband Jason of Cornville, brother Peter of Skowhegan; many nieces and nephews; as well as special friends; Randy Dostie, Rick West, and John Ames.

Visitation will be Oct. 7, 2023, at the Clinton Baptist Church in Cliton at 1 p.m. with a funeral and refreshments immediately following.
