Camden Opera House plans to presents Oshima Brothers’ Live in Concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at 29 Elm St. in Camden.
Renowned for their harmony-heavy east coast indie soul, the brothers are returning to their roots for a Homecoming concert .
This isn’t just a concert; it’s a celebration of home, harmony, and the heralding of winter. The Japanese-Italian siblings Sean and Jamie have carved a unique niche in the music world with their distinctive roots-pop blend.
The brothers have had a remarkable year, marked by the release of a 45-minute film and their remix album “Origami,” alongside a relentless tour schedule. Their anticipated Homecoming concert will be complete with a full band, special guests, a dynamic range from acoustic to electric sets, and captivating video projections.
Their journey has seen them grace stages at premier festivals and share spaces with music greats like Maggie Rogers, Ani DiFranco, and St. Paul & The Broken Bones. Sean and Jamie sculpt soundscapes, using live looping, diverse instrumentation, and lush vocals to envelop audiences in an auditory journey.
Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 day of show.
