Arthur E. Marson

PALMYRA – Arthur E. Marson, known to most as “Gene”, son of Arthur W. Marson and Mildred Bangs Marson, passed away on Dec. 3, 2023. He was born on Nov. 26. 1939 in Hartland.

Raising cattle and chickens were Arthur’s greatest passions in life and his hobbies included fishing, hunting, and camping. He also was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Arthur leaves behind his beloved wife, Madeline Marson; one sister, Shirley Marson; four children and their spouses, Deborah Bushey, Vicki and Ricky Morse, David and Larna Marson and Anita and Clint Hart; 11 stepchildren; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces.

He will forever be loved and missed by them all.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Palmyra.
