Philip M. Rousselle
SOUTH PARIS – Philip M. Rousselle died Dec. 6, 2023, He was born Feb. 22, 1962, in York. Phil was educated in the Buckfield school system; after school, he went into the U.S. Army and proudly served our country. While in the Army Phil traveled to many places, he was fond of his time in Germany. Phil was a disabled Army veteran.
Phil enjoyed cooking, music, playing the guitar, playing bingo on Monday and Thursday night, visits to the casino. He enjoyed his daily visits to Market Square restaurant for his daily coffee at the bar at 5 a.m. Phil enjoyed long drives and shopping trips with his mother and aunt. His kindness was unmatched as he was always willing to give a helping hand or a ride to anyone no matter their situation. Phil never had a judgmental bone in his body. He is so loved and missed by the many people he touched.
Philip was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Emily Butler and Benjamin Butler, his father, William Barker Sr., and his biological father Ernest Rousselle.
He survived by his mother, Phyllis Barker, his brothers, Lee Barker, Donnie Rousselle, William Barker, Jr, Brian Barker, Eric Barker, Cyebo Barker, Coley and April Barker, Isaac Barker, Elijah Barker, Abraham and Krystye Barker, and sisters, Patty and Fred Labbe, Carrie and Brad Walker and Betty and Ben Candage and many nieces and nephews.
