Hannaford supermarkets announced it will reduce fees on Hannaford To Go grocery pickup orders.
Customers can receive free pickup on orders of $125 or more. Orders less than $125 have a $1.99 service fee, according to a news release from the Scarborough-based grocery retailer.
Additionally, Hannaford To Go has increased time slots to place orders by 20%.
The fee reduction and time slot increase are part of a series of enhancements made to Hannaford To Go in recent years. In 2023, Hannaford improved its pickup technology, which has reduced wait time for pickup orders by 25% since its launch by allowing customers to notify the store when they are on their way via text message.
Additionally, Hannaford To Go customers can shop from recent online and in-store purchases; easily redeem My Hannaford Rewards digital coupons; and add items to their cart directly from the digital weekly flyer. Orders can be placed as little as three hours in advance and can be edited up until a few hours before pickup.
Grocery delivery is also available directly to a customer’s home or business. Hannaford To Go delivery has a flat service fee of $10 on any order of $30 or more. The fee is waived for a customer’s first Hannaford To Go delivery order.
