CANAAN – Inga (Parsons) Pollard was born October 1960 to Margaret and Marcus Hugh Parsons of Solon. She graduated from Carrabec High School 1979. She worked for Cianbro from 1979 until 1984 when her second son was born, and she decided to be a stay-at-home mom.

She graduated from Beal College in 2005 with associate degrees in Medical Office Management and Medical Assisting. She was proud to pass the American Association of Certified Medical Assisting. She was part of the local chapter Kennebec, assisted with Penobscot and was an officer for Maine State Society of Medical Assistants. She also organized several conferences around the state of Maine for medical assistants and traveled to several national conferences representing the State of Maine. She worked for Redington Medical Primary Care from 2005 until Sept. 22, 2022.

She was diagnosed with Primary brain Cancer in January 2023. She got her Angel Wings on Feb. 12, 2024. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. The last year was spent on adventures and memories with her family instead of doctor appointments.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years David Pollard; their youngest son Michael, oldest son Adam and his wife Amber. She has two grandchildren Wyatt and Mikaela Pollard.

There will be no burial service, instead please remember her by adding another log on the campfire at Nesowadnehunk Campground where she spent her free time. She will be sadly missed by all the lives that she had been blessed to know.

The family would like to thank Wendy Dicranian for her exceptional care and support. They would also like to thank Oto Prokop for his kindness and support.
