Thomas N. Dellarma
MERCER – Thomas N. Dellarma, 67, of Mercer, passed away on Thursday Feb. 8, 2024, at RFGH in Skowhegan after a brief battle with cancer. Thomas “Tom” was born on July 24, 1956, in Skowhegan, son of Margaret (Bridges) and Pietro Joseph Dellarma Jr. He grew up in Solon and graduated from Carrabec High School in 1975. He then graduated with an Associates of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Limerick, ME. Tom worked as a paper maker for SAPPI for 34 years before retiring.
Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and always had a project he was working on. He loved spending time at his camp on Moxie Pond making memories with his many friends and family. He also enjoyed spending time at his river shanty he built on Sandy River. You could often find him there enjoying nature. He liked to tinker on vehicles and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and family.
He was predeceased by his parents Pietro Joseph Dellarma Jr. and Margaret (Bridges) Dellarma; sister Cheryl (Dellarma) McAfee, and brother Pietro Joseph Dellarma III.
Tom is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kimberly Dellarma of Mercer; daughters Bridget Dellarma of Mercer, Nicole Dellarma with fiancé Michael Quigley of Skowhegan; siblings Linda Dellarma, Terry Dellarma with wife Kathy, Brent Dellarma with partner Delana, and Derek Dellarma with wife Hailey; several brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins; along with some close special friends.
The family extends a special thank you to Tom’s doctor, Wendy Dicranian, for going above and beyond.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m, at the Skowhegan Federated Church located at 13 Island Avenue, Skowhegan, ME, 04976. Burial to be held at a later date.
